I Was Your Window (demo) - Ronnie DAddario - 1976 - 1983 First Songs (Box Set)

  1. I first heard Ronnie James Dio was in either or I can’t recall whether it was Dio’s Holy Diver or The Last In Line album now. But I remember listening to the album over and over and over again. I just couldn’t believe how amazing Ronnie was. He put so much heart and soul into everything.
  2. The Band. The Band were a Canadian-American roots rock group that originally consisted of Rick Danko (bass guitar, double bass, fiddle, trombone, vocals), Levon Helm (drums, mandolin, guitar, vocals), Garth Hudson (keyboard instruments, saxophones, trumpet), Richard Manuel (piano, drums, baritone saxophone, vocals) and Robbie Robertson (guitar, vocals).
  3. A little over three minutes into “Temple Doors,” the opening track from the debut album by Philadelphia doom metal band Crypt Sermon, frontman Brooks Wilson sings the seemingly nonsensical phrase “fool, fool.” The words float there, isolated, between the song’s first chorus and second verse, and they don’t appear again. The phrase doesn’t add any apparent meaning to the lyrical.
  4. Ronnie D'Addario was born and raised in Manhattan, in the heart of the theater district, across from the Ed Sullivan Theater. He started playing guitar at the age of ten after seeing The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. He began singing and playing, including bass guitar, professionally in his early twenties.
